Fun with Shakespeare: A Summer Program for Kids
Join us at your local public library branch this summer and give your youngns’ an intro to Shakespeare! Led by professor and Shakespeare historian Jennifer Horn, Tennessee Stage Company will bring kid-friendly Shakespeare readings and games to a library branch near you. Throughout the summer, you can bring your family and friends to get fun exposure to the Bard. These classes are open to the public, free to attend and a great chance to learn about the world’s most famous playwrights!
There is no cost to attend. Classes last approximately one hour and are open to all ages.

CAMP SHAKESPEARE
Interested in Theatre?
Camp Shakespeare is our intensive five-day theatrical camp for students 13–17.
At this camp students will learn about Stage Combat, Acting Shakespeare, Acting for Film & TV, Improvisational Comedy, Contemporary Scene Work, Stage Movement, Audition Skills, Voice & Diction and Scene Study. Also students will get a sitting for a professional theatrical headshot.
Camp Shakespeare is held at the Emporium Center, 100 S. Gay Street.
This year’s camp goes from 12:00 pm–5:00 pm, Monday June 11, through Friday June 15. Classes are taught by professionals from Tennessee Stage Company’s Shakespeare On The Square.
Tuition is $ 175.00. Registration and tuition payment deadlines is June 4, 2012. You may pay by check MasterCard or Visa.
